Visit Sea Lapland-sovellus antaa vinkkejä siitä, mitä lähiympäristössä voi tehdä. Sovellus hyödyntää ensimmäisten joukossa koko Suomessa Beacon-tekniikkaa (suom. Majakka). Beaconit ovat pieniä bluetooth laitteita, jotka lähettävät signaalia ympäristössään 50-200 metrin matkalle. Meri-Lapissa on 20 Beaconia sovelluksen valikon kohteissa. Pidä puhelimessasi bluetooth ja sijaintitiedot päällä, niin saat ilmoituksia liikkuessasi Meri-Lapissa.

The Visit Sea Lapland app gives you tips on things to do nearby your location. The application is using Beacon technology. Beacons are small bluetooth devices that send signals from a range of 50-200 meters. In Sea Lapland there are 20 Beacons in the app’s menu items. Keep bluetooth and location services turned on in your phone and you will get notifications while you are in Sea Lapland.
